Cans for Care

 During the month of October any new patient who brought in a generous donation of canned goods received their first visit at no charge (including examination and x-rays, if needed).  Any existing patient who brought in a generous donation of canned goods had their name put in a drawing for 12 visits at our office!!  This was the 6th year we had our canned food drive.  In the last 5 years our wonderful patients have donated 7661 pounds of canned goods to Bluffton Self Help!  In 2009 we collected 893 pounds of food and $1100!  Thanks to all who participated!

Heroes on Horseback

We raised money for Heroes on Horseback in May.  When a new patients payed the $59 new patient fee we donated $20 to Heroes on Horseback.  Any existing patient that donated $5 or more to Heroes on Horseback got to draw from our prize jar for a chance to win a prize.  Any child that made a donation of any size was allowed to pick a prize from our "special kid prize basket." Thanks to everyone who participated!  We have the world's best patients!  We raised $575.30!  Here's the link to Heroes on Horseback so you can learn more about their organization: http://www.heroesonhorseback.org/
